The Federal State Budgetary Scientific Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences conducts independent state expertise of scientific and scientific-technical programs and projects, research and development works and reports, investment projects of any level (international, federal, departmental and regional) and origin (from individuals to organizations of any form of ownership, Russian, foreign and international).
Expertise in the framework of competitive events
Comprehensive assessment and analysis of design solutions, programs and activities, taking into account the necessary requirements and standards.
State expertise in the field of science and innovation
The State Scientific and Technical Expertise (NAT) forms and implements the scientific, technical and innovation policy of the country. This is an evaluation and analytical activity for the development of scenarios for management decisions, the selection of effective programs and projects within the framework of federal targeted programs and other activities, as well as a comprehensive assessment of the feasibility, effectiveness and competitiveness of project products.
Expertise of the Federal State Budgetary Budgetary Institution of the RSCCE Research Institute:
Organizes and conducts a competition of projects on a given topic
Will provide an independent but significant opinion on the developed project.
It will identify and correct the shortcomings of the submitted project proposals on a confidential basis.

The Federal State Budgetary Scientific Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences does not conduct the following types of expertise, which are performed by specialized organizations:
- Examination of consumer goods;
- On-site expertise of technical and construction facilities;
- Reviewing scientific manuscripts and textbooks.
