The Center is engaged in creating and maintaining software complexes for the information-analytical support of the work of subdivisions and the leadership of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation in implementing state scientific, technical, and innovation policy. IT support for key processes:

Expert-analytical work: Conducting expert evaluations, analyzing the status of research and development.
Competitive activities: Organizing and providing technical support for competitions (e.g., scholarship programs for postgraduate students).
Strategic planning: Formulating priority topics for scientific research.

The Center addresses a wide range of tasks, including:

Maintaining and updating the Expert Register.
Monitoring small innovative enterprises and large-scale scientific projects.
Solving internal organizational tasks (databases, Situation Center).
The Center fulfills organizational-technical and informational tasks within the framework of state assignments, contracts, and agreements, and is also responsible for information security.
