Support for the activities of the Presidential Grants Council of the Russian Federation

For the purpose of informational-analytical and organizational-technical support of this area, the following is carried out: Analysis of information from subordinate organizations obtained during monitoring activities of their research and development work in the fields of special and dual-purpose technologies, the implementation of innovations and advanced technologies in the interests of ensuring state security, and import substitution capabilities; Continuous analysis of the status and forecasting of the development of the scientific and technical potential of leading foreign states; Organization and conduct of classified examinations of informational materials to determine if they contain information constituting state secrets; Organizational and technical support for state, federal, and departmental targeted programs and plans in the interests of ensuring national defense and security. In this context, the following primary tasks are addressed: Development and submission of expert-analytical, scientific-methodological, and informational materials to facilitate forecasting and prospective planning of problem-oriented research and development in the interests of advancing military, special, and dual-purpose technologies, innovative products, and improving scientific and technical policy in the field of research to ensure national defense and security; Identification of promising directions for the development of special and dual-purpose technologies to substantiate military-technical policy for the long term, involving the expert community; Organization and conduct of monitoring of the research activities of subordinate organizations on topics aimed at ensuring national security; Engagement with scientists from the scientific and technical sphere through requests for expert opinions, analytical reports, and explanatory notes on problem-oriented areas related to military, special, and dual-purpose technologies; Informational and analytical support for the Commission on the Status and Forecast of the Development of the Scientific and Technical Potential of Leading Foreign States; Conducting classified scientific and technical expert evaluations in response to operational requests from structural units for state authorities to determine if the materials under investigation contain information constituting state secrets.
